David Wright was inducted into the Arizona Fall League Hall of Fame last night, along with Max Scherzer and Mike Trout. Wright hit for a line of .341/.427/.489 in the Arizona Fall League in 2003. Hopefully, this won’t be the final Hall of Fame that he is inducted into.
Manager Mickey Callaway and pitching coach Dave Eiland are ensuring a strong offseason, as they have sent the Mets pitcher an offseason pitching program, according to Marc Carig.
General manager Sandy Alderson is open to trading away some of their starting pitching depth, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post.
Michael Conforto has shown excellent results in his shoulder injury recovery, and could be back to swinging a bat by January, according to Joel Sherman. Conforto dislocated his left shoulder after swinging at a Robbie Ray fastball in a game against the Diamondbacks last August. He ended up missing the remainder of the 2017 season after having shoulder surgery in September.
