Mets Spring Training Pre-Game Report – 3/3/18

The Mets take on the Miami Marlins in Grapefruit League action at 1:10pm today. The Mets come off of two split squad games between the Nationals and Astros, where they lost 2-1 and tied 7-7, respectively. Gavin Cecchini built on an already-hot first week of spring training, hitting a home run in the ninth inning against the Nationals.

Noah Syndergaard will get the start against RHP Jose Urena today. The starting lineup for today’s game is shown below:

  4. Philip Evans – 3B
  5. Peter Alonso – 1B
  6. Amed Rosario – SS
  7. Gavin Cecchini – 2B
