Mets Pre-Game Report – 4/4/18

The Mets hope to complete a two-game sweep today, as they square off against the Phillies at 1:10pm today.

Last night, the Mets shutout the Phils, 2-0, behind a strong performance by Matt Harvey, who pitched five shutout innings and struck out five hitters.

Due to Monday’s postponement, Noah Syndergaard was bumped up a spot of the rotation, and will make his second start of the season today against Aaron Nola. Syndergaard struck out ten while allowing four earned runs in six innings of work on Opening Day.
